Extra Credit Assignments

I know you all enjoy getting some extra credit. Also, I know you all are too busy to take advantage of the wonderful Student Success Seminars the ELC offers.

So here's the deal:

For each seminar you attend, write (type!) a 250 to 300 word summary on what you learned in the seminar that will help you in our math class and

you get up to 10 points extra credit.

Success seminars qualifying for this deal:

• Brain Basics
• Learning Styles
• Test-taking Survival Skills

For Dates, Times and Location check out the ELC-seminar page or go to the ELC and get one of their flyers.

Hopefully, you learn a lot in those seminars to study more effectively.

In addition you can get 1 point extra credit (up to 10) for each math joke you bring to class. It needs to be turned in in writing as well as told in class.
